Profile of a Saint
|
| |
In appearance, Rambaba is short but sturdily built and dressed in layman's white simple robe.. He considers himself a simple and rustic man, but his knowledge of the Ramayana is profound. He lives his life by it. By nature and nurture he is shy. Pride and arrogance have never touched him. He is indifferent to praise or calumny. To many to meet Rambaba is like visiting a sacred shrine. His soft, sweet and simple language instantly gets absorbed in the mind and penetrates the heart.
His teachings are for salvation of people and to lead them to God Mahatma Gandhi describes a devotee as one who has dedicated mind and soul to God and is versed in action and yet remains unaffected by it. Rambaba is the perfect devotee in the truest sense of the term.

A young boy of 16 years writes:
|
"Babaji has a very special blessing from Shree Hanumanji. His personality, his aura, his magnetism, his enchanting eyes, his omni presence attracts one to him. One cannot miss the characteristic serenity and affection in his eyes. With this effect in a mere encounter, a troubled mind is healed and left tranquil.
He is highly charged with divine energy. People wonder about this energy and its source. This comes from Babaji's Lord and Master, Shree Hanumanji and is for the welfare of humanity. A simple visit to experience the presence of such a Saint can change the course of somebody's life for the better. Many wandering, misguided and hungry souls have been touched and healed by Rambaba. To Rambaba every human being is an embodiment of God and therefore treats everyone with equal love regardless of status, race and religion.
He says: 'Who am I? I am merely a chosen medium through whom God wants to give.' "

Rambaba's feeling and love for Shree Hanumanji is seen when one witnesses his total absorption in his emotion for his Lord and Master. In this state it has been said, he dances like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. In this ecstatic state, many have percieved the darshan of Shree Hanumanji Maharaj, his Lord and Master in him. When he delivers sermons he speaks passionately from the heart. Many Saints have been known to ask Rambaba "Who are you?..You have undertaken tasks in India that no human could have accomplished on his own."'
