H G Shree Rambaba has been providing, a sound spiritual basis for Hindu worship for the Hindus living in England, since his arrival in 1970 and kept it alive. He has been given the title of "Saint of the Thames" from the Hindus of London.
Prior to this, for 20 years he served his Guru to spread the tenets of Hinduism and to build many Temples in Uganda. In particular there is a Temple in
Uganda which looks like Somnath Temple and is an historic monument. He worked very hard for the construction of this Temple which still operates
today. In addition, according his Guru's instructions, he gave a lot of support to Sadhus and Saints, who visited Uganda from India. It was with his Guru's instruction, that he then went to England to serve the Hindus resident there.
There was little following of the Hindu religion, amongst the Hindus at that time. Pujya Rambaba started to spread the Hindu religion consciousness in England, akin to the work of Swami Vivekanand in America.
